Harvest 2021

What a ride! 2021 harvest is wrapped up and Covid-free too!
We were absolutely spoilt by the weather gods this year only having 1 day of rain all picking season until yesterday when the skies opened up. But with all our Marlborough grapes tucked up in the winery we were able to relax, taste some ferments and enjoy the fruits of our labour.

After a cold spring and flowering period, crops were lighter than expected. However the silver lining is fruit concentration throughout all our varieties. The ferments look spectacular and you can expect some exceptional wines for Forrest and The Doctors' in 2021. Keep your ears open and your eyes peeled over the coming months as there are a few little surprises on the way.

With more and more small business being absorbed by big corporations or closing their doors in these tough times, we feel extremely privileged to tick over our 31st harvest. Still running Forrest like we've done for many years and smiling all the way. Putting in the hard work, early mornings and long days alongside our amazing team, to craft the best wines we can from our vineyards, our home.
