Tatty Bogler is Scottish for scarecrow and pays homage to the early Scottish settlers of Otago, pioneers, who braved the harsh environment to carve a living from the land. Today their ancestors have established a thriving, internationally acclaimed, wine growing reputation.

Tatty Boglers still play their part protecting the ripen grapes from the ravages of hungry birds – like ourselves thirsty to try the next great vintage.
